Comunicado conjunto de los Alcaldes y Alcaldesas de Almogía, Alozaina, Álora, Ardales, Carratraca, Cártama, Casarabonela, Coín, El Valle de Abdalajís y Pizarra
Los alcaldes y alcaldesas de los Ayuntamientos de Almogía, Alozaina, Álora, Ardales, Carratraca, Cártama, Casarabonela, Coín, El Valle de Abdalajís y Pizarra, ante la proliferación de proyectos de mega parques fotovoltaicos en los respectivos municipios han decidido de forma conjunta y unánime manifestar lo siguiente:
- Apoyamos el despliegue de las energías renovables, pero de una forma controlada, ordenada y consensuada con el territorio.
- Con respecto a los proyectos en curso, manifestamos nuestra posición contraria a su ejecución, por considerar que el impacto acumulativo de los parques es devastador y desmesurado para la zona y para la Provincia.
- Los proyectos en marcha presentan tal envergadura que afectarían de forma negativa e irreversible la forma de vida de nuestros vecinos y vecinas, la biodiversidad de la zona, el turismo rural, la agricultura, la ganadería, la hostelería, el comercio y el valor paisajístico.
- En el día de hoy, hemos solicitado al subdelegado del Gobierno en Málaga la paralización de los proyectos en trámite y un estudio pormenorizado que regule y zonifique la instalación de los parques desde el respeto al territorio, a su modelo de desarrollo y a sus habitantes.
- Asimismo, hemos solicitado al delegado de desarrollo sostenible de la Junta de Andalucía una reunión que se celebrará el próximo día 21, donde pediremos la paralización de estos parques hasta que no haya una regulación sensata y respetuosa con el entorno y sus habitantes.
- Apostamos por una transición energética justa y ordenada, basada en la integración con el entorno, la generación de renovables distribuidas, el ahorro energético, el autoconsumo, la utilización de corredores eléctricos existentes, el soterramiento de las líneas de evacuación y la limitación del tamaño y producción de cada planta, entre otros aspectos.

JOINT STATEMENT OF THE MAYORS OF ALMOGÍA, ALOZAINA, ÁLORA, ARDALES, CARRATRACA, CÁRTAMA, CASARABONELA, COÍN, EL VALLE DE ABDALAJÍS AND PIZARRA.

The mayors of the municipalities of Almogía, Alozaina, Álora, Ardales, Carratraca, Cártama, Casarabonela, Coín, El Valle de Abdalajís and Pizarra, due to the proliferation of mega-photovoltaic park projects in these villages, they have decided the following agreement:

- We support the deployment of renewable energy, but in a controlled way, orderly manner and agreed and in a respectful way with the territory.

- Regard to current projects, we express our position against their implementation, considering that the cumulative impact of the parks is devastating and disproportionate for the whole area (provincia de Málaga).

- The current projects would negatively affect the life’s way of our neighbors, the biodiversity of the area, rural tourism, agriculture, livestock, hospitality, commerce and the landscape value.

- Today, we have asked the sub-delegate of the Government in Malaga to stop the projects in process and a detailed study that regulates and zoning the installation of the parks with respect for the territory, its development model and its inhabitants.

- Additionally, we have asked the delegate for sustainable development of the Junta de Andalucía for a meeting to be held on the 21st june; in this meeting, we will ask for the stoppage of these parks until there is a sensible and respectful regulation with the environment and its inhabitants.

- We are committed to a just and orderly energy transition, based on integration with the environment, the generation of distributed renewables, energy savings, self-consumption, the use of existing electrical corridors, the burying of evacuation lines and the limitation of size and production of each plant, among other aspects.
